The Ulster Hospital in Dundonald, County Down, has opened a £3 million cancer care unit.

The South Eastern Health Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support collaborated to create the Macmillan Unit.

The facility, which combines chemotherapy and support services, was built with the aid of cancer patients.

Mary Jo Thompson, temporary assistant director for health care and cancer services at the South Eastern Trust, told NEWSZENITH News that “the patients enjoy it.”
